Java Software Developer (Cairo Egypt)

Job Title Requested: Java Software Developer (Cairo, Egypt)

Expected Gross salary: Commensurate with experience

Other benefits: Health insurance

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Days Off: 2 Days

Working Condition: Full Time

Language Skills: English

Computer Skills:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of software development experience using J2EE platform.
  • Strong awareness of Software lifecycle
  • Commanding Knowledge of object oriented programming
  •  Working knowledge of J2EE design patters.
  • In depth knowledge with the J2EE platform development
  • Knowledge of CASE tools (Rational Rose, Power Designer)
  • In depth knowledge of various Database Management Systems (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL)
  • Hands on web development technologies (HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, )
  • Knowledge of web services, XML, SOAP
  • Knowledge of advanced web technologies (XML query, XSLT)

Further requirements and/or Restrictions:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related discipline
  • Presenting and Communicating Information
  • Coping with Pressure and Setbacks
  • Achieving Personal Work Goals and Objectives
  • Working effectively with individuals and teams, clients and staff. Support others and shows respect.
  • Learning and Researching
  • Java certification is an advantage

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up  full  software development cycle (analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation)
  • Understand and verify the functional and business Requirements of the software
  • Ability to gather business requirements from appointed focal points
  • Ability to write clear understandable technical documents
  • Understand the software design strategies and method Model for the system structure and behavior
  • Implement and maintain  software applications using a variety of tools and solutions
  • Involved in developing estimates for the project
  • Periodically report project status to team leader.
  • Communicate with Team Leader for any deficiencies or conflicts
  •  Acts as second level of support for production systems users.
  •  Transfer knowledge and know-how to other developers
  •  Ability to research new technologies, tools and solutions.
